CHEMTEC is introducing the Accelerated Cyclical Electrochemical Technique for rapid corrosion resistance results

The Accelerated Cyclical Electrochemical Technique, known by its acronym : ACET, is a method that allows measurement, in only 24 hours, of the corrosion resistance of organic coatings applied on metal surfaces.

This technique, which is regulated by ISO Standard 17463, is a much faster alternative to the salt spray corrosion resistance test. It is also a more quantitative and reproducible technique than the widely used salt spray corrosion resistance testing.
